Safety instructions
  • Make sure to choose a route that matches your experience and fitness level.
  • Check the weather forecast in advance.
  • Check if the cabins and snack stations you plan to visit along the way are open.
  • Inform someone about the choice of route and your planned return before you set off.
  • Also consider that in winter it can already get dark at 4:00 p.m. and spending a night outdoors in winter can quickly become life-threatening.
  • The weather can change surprisingly quickly in the mountains. Therefore, always make sure to be properly equipped when setting out. Especially in winter, extra caution is advised when moving in the mountains. When planning your tours, keep in mind that your schedule can easily be disrupted by even a small thing, especially in winter. A change in weather or a technical issue with the snowshoes can significantly impede your progress.
  • Please also consider that markings may be invisible in the snow during winter, so make sure to prepare well for your tour!
