Ski slope rules

Please mind the following rules
  • Consideration for other skiers and snowboarders
Every skier and snowboarder must behave in such a way that they do not endanger or harm others.

  • Mastery of speed and driving style
Every skier and snowboarder must ski within their line of sight. They must adjust their speed and manner of skiing to their ability, as well as to the terrain, snow, weather conditions, and the density of traffic.

  • Lane selection
The skier coming from behind must choose his path in such a way that he does not endanger skiers in front of him.

  • Overtaking
Overtaking is allowed from above or below, from the right or from the left, but always with a distance that allows the overtaken skier or snowboarder enough space for all their movements.

  • Driving in, starting off and driving uphill.
Every skier and snowboarder who wants to enter a descent, start again after stopping, or swing or ride uphill must ensure both above and below that they can do so without endangering themselves and others.
  • Stop
Every skier and snowboarder must avoid lingering unnecessarily at narrow or unobstructed points on a slope. A fallen skier or snowboarder must clear such a point as quickly as possible.

  • Ascent and Descent
A skier or snowboarder who is ascending or descending on foot must use the edge of the slope.

  • Observing the signs
Every skier and snowboarder must observe the markings and signals.

  • Assistance
In case of accidents, every skier and snowboarder is obligated to provide assistance.

  • Obligation to carry identification
Every skier and snowboarder, whether a witness or involved, whether responsible or not, must provide their personal details in case of an accident.
