Mönichkirchen water park with sauna

Discover water in a whole new way and experience the sea air in the middle of the Wechsel region: In the climatic health resort of Mönichkirchen, the water park offers visitors of all ages the opportunity to do just that.

As part of the "Water of Life" theme trail, which leads from Mönichkirchen up to the Schwaig, the water park introduces adults and children to the importance of this element in a variety of ways: in addition to the evaporation pond, biotope and marshland, an educational foot-touch trail and a water temple with a colorful waterfall are waiting to be explored.

The facility is particularly dedicated to the theme of "water and health": In addition to Kneipp pools, where the stimulating effects of water can be experienced, the water park also features a Salaërium. In the pavilion-like building, salty water is passed over bundles of fir branches. In this way, it enriches the air you breathe with aerosols. This gives it a similarly positive effect as sea air.
